 Our History in the United Kingdom

Langham Partnership UK & Ireland was created by a merger of two charities—the Langham Trust and the Evangelical Literature Trust—on 1 January 2004. Both were founded by the Rev Dr John Stott, Rector Emeritus of All Souls Church, Langham Place (London), more than 30 years ago. They were a response to the needs he perceived in the rapidly growing churches of the Majority World: pastors needed resources to study the Scriptures AND the emerging leaders of the church needed theological training. Dr Stott continues to be involved in the ministry of Langham Partnership.

Langham Partnership UK & Ireland is a member of Langham Partnership International, which includes John Stott Ministries (United States), Langham Partnership Canada, Langham Partnership Australia and Langham Foundation East Asia.
