Our History in the United Kingdom

Langham Partnership UK & Ireland was created by a merger of two charities—the Langham Trust and the Evangelical Literature Trust—on 1 January 2004. Both were founded by the Rev Dr John Stott, Rector Emeritus of All Souls Church, Langham Place (London), more than 30 years ago. They were a response to the needs he perceived in the rapidly growing churches of the Majority World: pastors needed resources to study the Scriptures AND the emerging leaders of the church needed theological training. Dr Stott continues to be involved in the ministry of Langham Partnership. |
Langham Partnership UK & Ireland is a member of Langham Partnership International, which includes John Stott Ministries (United States), Langham Partnership Canada, Langham Partnership Australia and Langham Foundation East Asia.
